Acrostic Poem: Christmas

by Anya Ambarish, Age 11, USA

Christmas

Candy canes and reindeer fly around
Hearths filled with orange flames
Rising are the spirits
Inside the joyful houses
Santa begins his rounds
Trees green he puts his gifts in
Making the children grin with delight
And as the white snow blankets the world
Spirits are awakened
